The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) has been awarded the contract to deliver the NHS England Foundation Trainee Pharmacist Programme e-Portfolio for 2025/26, powered by Axia Digital.
The e-portfolio will enable trainees to document their learning and development, map their learning and assessment activities, review their progress, and achieve sign off for completion of the interim standards for initial education and training of pharmacists and prepare for practice as prescribers.
To support using the portfolio, NHS England and RPS will host a series of introductory webinars in July for trainees, designated supervisors and designated prescribing practitioners.
Helen Chang, Associate Director for Education at RPS, said:
“We’re delighted to continue supporting the education and development of the pharmacy workforce by delivering the NHS England Foundation e-Portfolio for another year.
“This tool underpins a long-term education pathway and ensures trainees have a consistent and structured way to evidence their progress, helping them transition seamlessly into post-registration programmes.
“We’re also proud to continue working in partnership with NHS England to support trainees and supervisors.”
