RPS responds to consultation on puberty blockers

RPS crest

RPS has responded to the Government’s consultation on the proposed change to the availability of puberty blockers.

In our response, we have consolidated our position expressed in our earlier statement of July this year. We continue to actively engage with the Department of Health and Social Care about our concerns around the potential criminalisation of pharmacists who dispense these medicines and our call for patients to have timely access to specialist care pathways for support.
