Our exciting work with leading health charity The King's Fund is moving forward to develop a Vision for Pharmacy Practice in England.
We saw a great response to our open consultation in September, with pharmacy teams, patient groups, pharmacy organisations and health and care leaders providing feedback and insights on six key themes. We also held ten virtual events to explore these issues in more detail, including sessions co-hosted with the UK Clinical Pharmacy Association, the College of Mental Health Pharmacy, the Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK and the Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacists Group.
From the start we wanted people from across the pharmacy profession and beyond to have their say. A huge thank-you to everyone who took the time to give us their opinions, ideas and feedback.
The project advisory group met this week to review the consultation findings and reflect on what key changes we might see over the next few years that will shape pharmacy practice. We’ll be reviewing all your feedback over the coming weeks and aim to publish a report in December.
We have heard some fantastic examples of good practice through our engagement so far, but if you have any case studies or ideas you would like to share, please get in touch with the team at [email protected].
We’ll be talking about our work on pharmacy practice across GB and more at the RPS Annual Conference in London on 11 November. Click here to register for the RPS Annual Conference and find out more.
