RPS Boards from England, Scotland and Wales came together for a joint board meeting today. They were joined by members who could observe remotely.

Key agenda items included:

• Updates on the RPS communications review and the UK Commission on Pharmacy Professional Leadership.
• Discussion on workforce pressures, including the current RPS workforce wellbeing survey which closes on 14 October.
• A vote to support enabling pharmacy technicians to supply medicines under Patient Group Directions where this enhances patient care.
• Our work across GB around advacing pharmacy practice, including pharmacy’s role to help address health inequalities.
• The outcome of discussions on AGM motions will be published in the meeting minutes, including on RPS Ambassadors, degree apprenticeships, and the role of RPS Expert Advisory Groups.
